As if there wasn't already sufficient proof that Kids Today Don't Know How Lucky They Are, we have the Phantoms Children's Book Week. Some players are going into the community to read at elementary schools.
Where, oh where, were these outreach ideas when I was in elementary school? ;) I'd have loved to have some Flyers come in and read to us. (It'd have had to be Flyers then, since our AHL team was located elsewhere.) Dang. All the good ideas get dreamed up years after I need 'em. ;)
