The Flyers have nullified a trade with San Jose that would have brought Kyle McLaren to Philadelphia to play for the Phantoms. The article I saw was very terse, stating only that McLaren did not pass his physical according to Paul Holmgren.
And speaking of San Jose,the Phantoms are in the midst of a game with the Sharks' farm team in Worcester. As I was unable to tune in online until the second period, I am not live blogging the game. I'll post the recap and box score later.
But I will say that right now, the Phantoms/Sharks have just gone into the second intermission with the Sharks leading 3-1. The Phantoms need to SIT ON Matt Fornitaro, who has been a factor in all three Worcester goals. He scored two of them, and assisted on the other.
So, for the third period (and beyond,if necessary), GO PHANTOMS!
